Real talk. Folks often ask why most of what we plant is in the fenced fields. This picture hopefully explains it well. We plant "extra" plants in the non-fenced fields, but more often than not they don't make it. (We lost 650 pumpkins plants this year). Any guesses as to why?

Fall is in the air and we are actively planting our cooler weather crops. Cherry tomatoes coming soon and we are starting to get a few yellow squash off of the new plants. Collards, Kale, broccoli, cauliflower, several types of cabbage are all in the ground. We will post as new items become available.

What a beautiful couple of days! It has been great to see the sun and still enjoy the cooler temperatures. Several folks have asked if we will close for the year and the answer is no. We operate ALL year. What we carry will vary by season, but we typically have firewood bundles and the food for the critters all year, as well as our jams and other canned items. Attached are pictures of most of what we currently have stocked. Please note that apples will come and go as we get them. We also still have pumpkins and gourds. Come on by!

Every season I keep my fall stacks of pumpkins and after Thanksgiving spray paint them to make adorable snowmen. Scarves and earmuffs I grab at Dollar Tree. Keep that in your thoughts when you are making your stacks. I will also spray some rounder pumpkins in gold, red or green and add a Christmas ribbon to make Christmas Balls. Comr on by!
