1 in 5 trees have birds nest currently in them at the Tree Farm. Some have eggs, some have baby birds & some are empty. While picking cones off of fir trees we get to check them all out! Some mama birds are not happy to see us & circle above while chirping loudly. We took advantage of a cooler weekend to work on the fir cones removal.

Today, CAL School Board President, Cathy Carlson, helped plant a beautiful 16-foot Sycamore tree near the farm animals enclosure, creating an instant impact and adding even more beauty and shade to the farm for years to come. 🐐🐓🐑
