Meet a “berried” lobster. 🦞 This female is carrying thousands of tiny black eggs under her tail. In our industry, protecting these ladies is our absolute top priority.

Even though she can carry thousands of eggs at a time, less than 1% will actually survive the journey to hatch and grow into legal-sized adults. Because the odds are stacked against them, protecting every single egg-bearing female is critical.

Before we safely returned her to the water, she received a “notch” in her tail flipper to let other fishermen know she’s a fertile mom. As soon as we snapped this quick photo, she was back in the ocean to hatch the next generation!

Sustainability is how we keep our oceans healthy and our family business thriving for generations to come. 🌊

We’re partnering with Uproar Strength to host a Saturday morning pop-up on the last Saturday of every month from 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM. 🏋️‍♂️⚓
