Two days ago I made ice cream for the first time! 🍦
That was new...and fun!
I went the bourbon route!
I made a vanilla and marshmallow bourbon ice cream and a hollow chocolate leaf..... inside the leaf ... once you whack it open with your spoon...falls a maple bourbon pecan caramel that I made that coats the ice cream.

Two different bourbons that came together beautifully. The flavors naturally married one another.

Hints of oak, vanilla, marshmallow, pecan, maple....you are eating cold but get a hit of warmth from the bourbon. Like you're sitting right in front of a campfire on a fall night. 🔥

Anyway...

I think an oatmeal cream pie macaron would be pretty good if you're into that kind of thing. I'll Keep on bakin'makin'n'creatin. 😉
