We have been doing this vineyard and w**ery thing a long time. Actually longer than anyone else in the Swan Creek AVA and we have learned a lot along the way.
Here are photos of our recent Viognier harvest. The grapes are not picture perfect and that’s a beautiful thing and just what you hope to achieve.
You see when w**e grapes look perfect to the eye they just haven’t developed enough depth of flavor and character. W**e needs the harvested grapes to include some that have gone to raisins, making them sweeter and developing richer flavor.
Our vineyard was planted in 2001.

It’s a great day today at Laurel Gray with music by James Vincent Carroll 1-4pm and delicious lobster creations by Lobster Dogs, 11:30-4pm. Sunday is your day to enjoy the serenity of our veranda and beautiful estate with “bring your own picnic” day.

It’s harvest season at Laurel Gray, and this year is especially meaningful as we celebrate our 25th vintage.

As the oldest vineyard and w**ery in the Swan Creek AVA, we’re proud of the roots we’ve put down here and the w**es we’ve crafted along the way. For 25 vintages, our focus has remained the same: producing award-winning, French-style w**es that reflect the character of our vineyard and the land we’re fortunate to call home.
