Mondays & Tuesdays are our behind-the-scenes days!

You won't find us relaxing... you'll find us placing orders, coordinating deliveries, unpacking boxes, stocking shelves, and connecting with the farmers and food makers who keep Sweet Beet full of fresh, local goodness.

Sure, it would be easier to order everything from one or two large distributors, but that's NOT what we're about.

Instead, we work with many, many hyper-local, local, and regional farmers, fishers, bakers, and food makers. That means dozens of emails, phone calls, texts, and orders every week. It means checking in on what's being harvested, what's just come out of the oven, and what's ready to be delivered.

Some of that work happens throughout the week, but closing on Mondays and Tuesdays gives us the dedicated time to do the bulk of it well. It's what makes it possible for us to be fully present with you when our doors are open, which is part of what makes Sweet Beet different.

Today we received just-harvested vegetables from Sarah at Kearsarge Gore Farm, fresh sourdough from Crystal at Peony Place, a beer order from Kettlehead Brewing, more veggies from Singing Pond Farm, to name a few. And, we placed a whole bunch of orders for incredible the local products that you'll find on our shelves beginning Wednesday.

Thank you for supporting a market that chooses relationships over convenience. We think local food deserves the extra care, which is at the heart of everything we do at Kearsarge Food Hub.
