Yesterday was our 8th wedding anniversary. 8 years ago, this man, Travis A. Knight officiated our wedding at our farm in front of about 45 of our closest loved ones. Yesterday, that same incredible man made his BROADWAY debut, and we are so flipping proud of him. We went and saw Paranormal Activity - A New Story Live on Stage in Boston last month, and let me tell ya, it’s good.

Tyler and Travis cut their theatre teeth together in Chicago. They were young and silly and brave and talented. Watching Travis’s hard work pay off all these years later is one of the coolest things ever. No one deserves it more than him.

So cheers to 8 more glorious years of marriage, and continuing to watch our friends live out their dreams on the big stage. Travis, we love you buddy. You’re doing it!!!

How do you make good food even better?
HERBS! Fresh herbs.

We grow a large variety of herbs because we have found over the years that chef and home cooks want more than parsley and cilantro. Our goal is to be able to offer all the old standards, but we also love to grow Tulsi and cinnamon basil, French tarragon, Shiso, lemon thyme and many others.

If you’re wondering where our products can be found this year, hop on over to the The Dub Gen! As new and delicious seasonal produce starts popping (ahem, tomatoes coming soon), we’re packing them up and bringing them to the store.

What we’re about to share is news we’ve been holding on for what feels like forever, and honestly, many of you may have already heard.

The owners of the Dublin General Store, Andy and Michelle Freeman have retired and have entrusted us to continue on. We congratulate them on an amazing 24 years in business, and wish them all the best in the next chapter of their lives. Because of them, we’re starting off with a strong customer base and an amazing staff you know and love. Dub Gen is a huge staple of this community, and we know we have big shoes to fill.

In the coming weeks and months, we’ll be expanding our local options, bringing in fresh produce and flowers for sale, and will continue to provide you with the experience you’ve come to expect. We can’t wait to see you.

A rainy Saturday morning is perfect for building a new mushroom grow area.

We’ve been experimenting with shiitake logs for a few years, and decided to expand into blue oysters and wine caps.

The wood chips and logs came from trees close to our house we recently had taken down.
