Just as a heads up, Frito did not arrive Tuesday claiming winds. However, just as a heads up, we were informed a few weeks ago that Frito will no longer be delivering in person to this area. JB’s, Walcott, and Hanna stores are being cut for in person deliveries. We haven’t been given a reason for this decision but have been told all orders will now be done online and shipped through a shipping company. As you may have heard, UPS is reducing their deliveries to this area to three times a week. We have no clue how this is going to work with Frito. Hopefully we can get things ironed out but unless Frito delivers next week, their last week, we will only have chips we get through AFS.

They do over several Crav’n flavors and we should be getting what we ordered at the food show here soon, but we will keep you posted on the Frito changes.

As most know just by coming in, Frito did not make it Saturday. Apparently the driver who was supposed to bring the chips called in sick. I can honestly say I have no clue if they will make tomorrow. Again, we will let you know when they get here.

Michele and I went through our whole cereal section due to discontinued product and picked new product. We also got our new order guide and many of the bagged Malt O’Meal that was discontinued is now back. I truly wish we can just order all of it at once but that’s just not possible. I did order all the bagged but boxed will take a couple weeks to fill. Remember, bringing in new stuff is fun but we have to balance it while making sure important product we know you need is stocked. We wouldn’t be able to do that if we ordered all the cereal in one shot. So bagged cereal will be the only cereal coming on Monday and we will slowly fill the whole section with what we hope is a good variety of cereal for you.

Update: Our Coke delivery made it today.

Update: Frito called us and said they are shooting for a Saturday delivery as this wind storm we have going on is supposed to last till Thursday.

Coke let us know that unless the wind dies down, show won’t be able to get here. That reminded me that Frito hasn’t been here for two weeks. We are empty and we apologize. I doubt they will get here today due to wind as well. We will let you know when they do arrive.

We had more items than expected out of stock, for a few items like Rocky Road, we keep ordering it and this is the result, for several weeks now. We will try again Thursday for a Friday delivery.

We had a customer come in tonight and is have some draining issues with his washing machine. He asked if there was someone that was willing to wash his clothing. He will dry it at home. He’s willing to pay. It is only temporary as he just has to fix some piping. I don’t know anyone but said I’d ask here. Shoot me a PM if you’re willing and I will pass it on to him.

We were having a hard time getting these in and the ones we did have at one time were $15, so my husband, who sales the knives here in the store brought these in as well. $2 each.
