As part of the Oklahoma Pork Council’s challenge, we are giving hams and HAMburger this holiday season. We are beef producers at heart, after all.

While it may be hard to believe, there are families in our communities who don’t know where their next meal will come from.

We’re proud to play a small part by donating hams and hamburger to the Palmyra Food Pantry to help families in need.

Now let’s keep it going! We challenge:
• Mason Burch – B&S Insurance Company
• Lexi Koelling – Meyer Cattle Company & National Junior Angus Board
• Brent & Kylee Meyer Family

Grateful hearts and busy hands for these elves—wrapping and preparing gifts for one family our farm adopted through the Adopt-A-Family program. ❤️🎁 We’re incredibly thankful for our employees who helped put this together and for the reminder that serving others is one of the greatest gifts of all. Seeing this huge room filled with gifts thanks to the generosity of our community is amazing!

It's National Farm Safety Week. If there is one thing we are passionate about it's making sure we all get home safe each day.

Here are a few real life tips:

⚠️ It's DRY and FIRE danger is real. Whether you're harvesting or mowing corn stalks or anything in between, have a plan that you communicate with everyone in advance on what to do if there is a fire. Make sure you know where your fire extinguishers are located. Make sure they are in date. Make sure everyone knows how to use them. Also know when to the call the Fire Department.

⚠️Moving equipment on roadways is one of the most dangerous things we do. Much of the danger is out of our control. Drivers, slow down. In most circumstances we cannot see behind us to know you are there. Let's do our part to move have proper lighting and SMV symbols so others on the road know we are there. Organize your harvesting so you can move on roadways when it is appropriate.

⚠️SLOW DOWN and eliminate distractions! It's not worth a life, damaged equipment, or injuries to gain a few minutes of productivity. Focus on efficiency not being fast. So many accidents happen when we are in a hurry or have distractions.

⚠️See these littles? Who doesn't love having them in the field and learning firsthand. Help keep them safe. Don't leave them in the cab unattended while equipment is running. Don't let them stand or push on the front window of the combine cab. Have them wear bright clothing. Always know exactly where they are.

Wishing everyone a SAFE and productive harvest!
