🎃 Airport District Night Market Pumpkin Painting Contest

Guidelines for October 23, 2026 5 - 9 PM

1. Contest Overview

Join us at the Airport District Night Market for a fun and creative Pumpkin Painting Contest! Participants are encouraged to use their imagination to transform a pumpkin into a unique work of art.

2. Contest Rules

Painting and decorating only — NO CARVING.

Pumpkins must remain intact and may not be cut, carved, or punctured.

Participants may use paint, brushes, markers, glitter, fabric, ribbons, stickers, and other decorative materials.

All decorations must be securely attached to the pumpkin.

Pumpkins must be completed and submitted for judging by the designated 5PM contest deadline.

Each participant may submit one pumpkin for judging.

Designs must be appropriate for a family-friendly community event.

3. Judging @ 6PM

The vendors participating in the Airport District Night Market will serve as the judges.

Judges will evaluate pumpkins based on:

🎨 Creativity & Originality

🖌️ Artistic Design

🌟 Overall Appearance

💡 Use of Materials

🎃 Overall “Wow” Factor

4. Winners

The pumpkin receiving the highest overall score from the market vendors will be named the Pumpkin Painting Contest Winner.

5. Important Reminder

NO CARVING IS ALLOWED. This is a pumpkin painting and decorating contest only. Pumpkins must remain whole and intact throughout the contest.

Most importantly, have fun, get creative, and show us what you can do! 🎃
