🌻Meet farm lessees Molly & Caleb!🌻

After months of collaborations and negotiations, the Coleman family is thrilled to announce that we have signed a long-term lease at Four Season Farm with farmers Molly Friedland & Caleb Hawkins of Little Red Flower Truck

In Molly & Caleb’s words:

“To be growing on the land Eliot Coleman, Barbara Damrosch and so many others have skillfully cultivated for over 50 years is such an honor! We are humbled and incredibly grateful for this opportunity!

~What does it all mean?!?~

🌱We will still be Little Red Flower Truck, we will just be farming at Four Season Farm!
🌱We are leasing about 7 acres of cropland and will run our business from the farm on Cape Rosier.
🌱We will absolutely still grow flowers!
🌱We will incorporate vegetables into our enterprise and will utilize the infrastructure that exists at Four Season Farm, including a seasonal, weekly, on-site Farmstand and 9 greenhouses💥💥
🌱You will still see the Four Season Farm name/logo on vegetables in the Co-op, but we are now the producers of that veg!
🌱We will both be working full-time on the farm & will be hiring seasonal employees, and! have housing to offer!
🌱We have moved onto the farm and since October have been growing, harvesting and selling produce to serve Four Season Farms dedicated wholesale clients. It has been both challenging and rewarding to step back into vegetables and we are so grateful for the flexibility and support this community has shown us.
🫶Huge shout out to .hearth .maine for sticking with us 🫶

This is a unique & nuanced land lease and it took many people a lot of time and energy to make it happen.
Endless gratitude to:
