Abby driving the "quarantine pod."

So, I am actually making an effort to post frequently...4 days ago. With all this quarantine business life is still busy but in a different way. There are still doctor appointments, birthdays, church work and busy work, somehow its just different now. Time has slowed, people are quieter, shelves are empty and life is just sweeter. It's so bizarre.
Demi was notified that college classes will remain as online for the rest of the semester. It's been tough. Last night we sat around a fire and just talked about life as of right now, and the opportunities its giving us. I know, what opportunities!?! Our girls are very active in sports. Demi has been the main pitcher for her team the last couple of years. Wonderful, but she has given up branding, helping dad on the farm and acquired an injured shoulder. With this time she can heal, help and spend time with her family at home. I'm assuming Abby will do the same.
Now that we as farmers and ranchers are deemed "critical infrastructure," Scott continues his business as usual...planting, repairing, purchasing like nothing is even happening....so God made a farmer.

The Trump administration has labeled agriculture as a critical industry in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak, allowing businesses to continue operating as usual amid current and potential restrictions created to stem the spread of the virus.

Good morning! Its day 3 of the Coronavirus "shutdown." Demi is home from college. Abbys sophomore year has been delayed. We celebrated St. Patrick's at the 4 Aces. Kim and crew made it comfortable in the back room. Lots of air hit pumps, waves and birds showing our affections. It may be our last night with our friends for some time.
In the meantime, Scott is planting spring wheat before the next snow storm. Life continues here in the farm. Fields need planted, tractors maintained and moms sofa table needs repaired.
We developed a plan at church to help the congregation with groceries, doctor visits, etc. We needed someone without a compromised system, without young kids or those that haven't been around kids. Our congregation is filled with teachers and youth volunteers. It was complicated. Thinking out load we discussed our normal "go to" gals. They were not good candidates. So I volunteered Scott, my farmer husband. His office is a tractor. I'm thankful we have someone to help if things are needed. So God made a farmer. ♥️
