At Tate Cattle Company, we know a thing or two about the importance of raising them right...

From flipping through cattle magazines as a baby to showing our Grand Champion Market Beef at the Breckinridge County Fair this summer. (Where does the time go??!!)

Around here, raising cattle is more than a way of life, and there's a whole lot more to it than just feeding cows and fixing fences! We spend countless hours studying genetics, evaluating research, weighing decisions that affect our herd, and figuring out how we can keep improving. And that's on top of the everyday work of running a farm!

We've got generations of hard work and experience behind us, and nobody sees what goes into it more than our own family. Seeing that same love for cattle carry on to the next generation makes all those long days worth it....

Looks like the future of Tate Cattle Company in pretty good hands!!!!

October in Kentucky means you need a winter coat in the morning and the AC by afternoon.... but these cooler mornings sure do make a nice hot, pot roast sound pretty darn good!

Throw a roast in the crockpot with some potatoes, carrots, and whatever else you've got laying around. Let it cook all day, and you've got a good, hearty supper waiting when you get home. Might even get the kids (and yourself) to eat a few vegetables while you're at it!!!

We've got plenty of locally raised beef roasts ready to go! And our beef freezes great, so you can keep a few on hand for those days when you don't feel like fooling with supper.

Come get you one. Or two... OR FIVE!!! 🥩

Who says pork burgers HAVE to be burgers??? 😂 Hannah and her family were craving Salisbury steaks, and in this economy, you use what you've got! Turns out, a pack of Tate Cattle Company pork burgers worked just fine!

We love seeing what y'all come up with in the kitchen, especially when it's something we hadn't thought to try ourselves. Now we've got another supper idea to add to the rotation!!

(And judging by those PERFECTLY COOKED steaks they grilled the next night, we'd say they ate pretty good all weekend!!!)

Thanks for sharing, Hannah! We love seeing our pork and beef make it to y'all's supper tables. Might have to try this one ourselves!

Wouldn't it be nice to come home and have supper already made?

Well.... we can't cook it for you, but we can get you pretty darn close! Throw a Tate Cattle Company roast in the crockpot before you head out for the day, and let that thing do the work. Future you will thank you with a mouthful of tender, tasty beef!

We're taking 10% off all roasts, so now's a good time to stock up for the cooler weeks ahead. We'll be at Kinser's Korner Friday evening, so stop by and see us and pick up some locally raised beef directly from the ones who raise it!
