The smell of sausage frying in the morning is hard to beat. But did you know the few minutes it takes to fry sausage are actually the shortest part of the process?

Years of genetics, breeding decisions, nutrition, and management go into producing quality pork at Tate Cattle Company.

We're probably a little too obsessive about it, but if we're going to feed it to our family and yours, we figure it ought to be the best we can make.

The frying part is easy. The rest takes a little longer.

School’s out. The house is loud, the schedule is different every day, but supper still has to happen???

Crockpot Chuck Roast:

- 1 Tate Cattle Company chuck roast
- Potatoes
- Carrots
- 1 onion
- 1 packet ranch seasoning
- 1 packet brown gravy mix
- 1 stick butter
- A little water or beef broth

1. Cook on low about 8 hours, or until it falls apart. DUN!!

(A big supper that feeds the whole house without much thinking is pretty handy this time of year if you ask us)
