There’s sunshine, hoop skirts, and honey in Belvidere today!

Little Dipper Apiaries is at the 38th annual Belvidere Victorian Day at Garret D. Wall Park — beautiful weather, live music, a park full of vendors, and our table stacked with local honey and pure beeswax candles. 🍯 🕯️

Victorian households knew the good stuff when they saw it. Refined sugar was still a luxury for many families, so they used honey to sweeten tea and cakes, and beeswax candles were the prized light in parlors and churches: they burned cleaner and brighter than smoky tallow. ☀️

The weather’s perfect for a stroll through the park! We’ll be here till 6pm.

Bee fact: it takes the bees about eight pounds of honey to produce one pound of beeswax. That’s one reason pure beeswax candles are so special! 💛

🐝 Catch us at the West End Farmers' Market in Hackettstown today with two seasons of pure local wildflower honey —spring and summer harvests— plus tons of beautiful handmade beeswax candles. We’re here until 1pm (or thunder)!

National Honey Bee Day was yesterday… but we’re still celebrating! 🍯✨

Fun fact: Honey bees pollinate about one-third of the food we eat. Without them, a whole lot of the produce (and honey!) we love simply wouldn’t exist.

Come pick up a jar or a candle (or two!) and support our hard working pollinators. 🐝

Still riding the energy of yesterday's event, but we are SO excited to be posting about one of our local favorites: Maplewood Small Wonder Marketplace!

Join us Sunday, August 2 from 10AM - 4PM in Maplewood Village for a full day of shopping, live music, local food, and handmade creativity.

🌞 We’re buzzing at today’s Hackettstown Street Fair and World Soccer Final Celebration! 🐝⚽
The weather is absolutely perfect for strolling, cheering on the matches, and grabbing some local goodness. We’re right on Main Street between W. Moore and High Street.
