🚜SEPTEMBER FARM UPDATES🚜
Hey guys! We have gained a lot of new friends over the past few weeks and received a lot of good questions so we figured why not do a monthly update with everyone! *some of this may be from previous posts so we have all the info in one place*
🚜Welcome to Moon Cattle Farm, the local family owned and operated cattle farm
🐮yes, we raise our own cows
🐮our cows are grass-fed, grain-finished
🚜We love walk ups at our farm during hours but recommend pre-orders to ensure you get everything you are wanting!
🐮We are currently open Saturdays 9am-12
🐮We prefer pre-orders to be made through Facebook messenger as comments get missed/lost in the chaos and so our workers can use them as a reference when completing your order
🚜We require a non-refundable $10 deposit for pre-orders and $20 deposit for monthly/large bundles with the remaining balance due at pick up
🐮we do not take full payment in case something happens with pick up(something is missing from your order, you’re not able to pick up, etc) and due to needing to get the weights on most cuts
🐮Payments at pick up/walk up will need to be paid with cash or card. Deposits can be paid with Venmo or cashapp
🚜When ordering different cuts of meat, unless it is a ground product, we will do our best to get as close to the weight you are requesting but can not guarantee it will be the exact amount due to the cut of the meat (ex. If you are wanting 5lbs of stew meat you may receive 5.5lbs due to the packs not being exactly 1lb each)
🚜Any orders not picked up or picked up late may result in your order being sold or a $5 fee being applied. We must have payment and confirmation from you to hold late orders
🐮Invoices for late orders must be paid within 2 hours of receiving
🚜Refer to the picture below when considering buying in bulk (1/4, 1/2 and whole cows) as it explains how the weights vary and what is applied towards pricing
🚜We are now sold in store at THREE retailers: The Harlem Mercantile, Sudlows and The Thomson General Store
