One of my favorite necklaces to wear is my quartz necklace. Quartz is just so beautiful to me. I love wearing my necklace, not because I believe the stone has any special power, but because of what it reminds me of.

In Revelation, the beauty of heaven is described with imagery of crystal and precious stones. Revelation 22:1 speaks of the river of the water of life as being "clear as crystal".

Whenever I wear my quartz necklace, I find myself holding the pendant and turning it over in my hand. I love feeling its raw, natural shape and looking closely at its clarity and little imperfections. It reminds me of the beauty in God's creation and also something bigger. If something this beautiful can exist here, I can't imagine the beauty of His kingdom!

It's a reminder if God's promise to us and the beauty we have to look foward to. For me, that's what makes wearing this necklace so special.

If you would like your own quartz necklace, I have two available for puchase along with matching pairs of earrings ✨ I have one in black and one in bronze. Both chains are hypoallergenic. Matching earrings have hypoallergenic earring hooks and match the bronze necklace. Colors available come in strawberry quartz (pink), amethyst (purple), and blue sandstone (sparkly navy).

I know I've been a little quiet here lately, and I wanted to take a moment to share why.

The past several months have been a difficult season for our family. From my husband's surgery last December, his recovery afterwards, and his upcoming surgery on September 11th and a long recovery ahead, my focus has shifted toward taking care of my family and preparing for what's ahead.

Because of everything going on, I've also made the difficult decision that we will no longer be participating in markets for the foreseeable future. Markets have been such a special part in our family, and I've truly loved meeting so many of you, sharing my handmade pieces, and getting to know the people who support what I create.

That doesn't mean I'm giving up on my shop. ❤️ I'm still creating, and my jewelry will continue to be available online and through direct orders.

If you've ever considered purchasing one of my handmade pieces, this is a wonderful time to shoe support. Every purchase, no matter how big or small, helps while we're navigating this challenging season, and if purchasing isn't possible right now, please know that a share, a comment, a like, or simply telling someone about my shop is just as appreciated. Lavender has been cherished for centuries for its naturally calming aroma. It's often associated with relaxation, quiet moments, and winding down after a busy day or a hectic week. While a slice of lavender bread isn't a cure for life's chaos, I love the gentle reminder it brings: pause, slow down, make a cup of tea, take a deep breath, and enjoy something made with love and care 💜

That's exactly what inspired my Lavender Lemon Bread 🪻 🍋 ✨️ Calming lavender complimented by sweet lemon brings a little moment of peace in every slice 😌

One of my favorite parts of baking is the very beginning✨

The first photo is the start of my Orange Cranberry Bread 🍊 ❤️ Fresh orange zest mixed into sugar until the citrus oils are released 😍 The aroma is absolutely incredible, and it's one of those little moments that reminds me why I love baking.

Swipe to the photo of a quiet lavender pond🪻 It is the beginning of my Lavender Lemon Bread. I gently warm culinary lavender with milk to create a delicate floral infusion before it becomes part of my homemade batter. The kitchen smells so calm and comforting during this step 💜

These little details may seem simple, but they're part of the love and care that goes into every loaf I bake.

I will have these breads available for pickup this Friday 🤗

✨ Orange Cranberry Bread – fresh orange zest mixed with sugar, fresh squeezed orange juice mixed in a homemade batter. Tart cranberries are tossed in with local honey 🍯 🍓

✨ Lavender Lemon Bread – fragrant culinary lavender infused in a moist vanilla loaf🪻 drizzled with my fresh homemade lemon icing 🍋
