To my neighbor who insists on mowing her lawn basically naked, ive already contacted the HOA? This is a neighborhood. Not a beach.

I have a 15-year-old son. He does not need to be looking out the window and seeing that. Its disgusting!!!

It feels intentional at this point. It’s unnecessary and it’s uncomfortable for the rest of us.

Have some basic decency. Please don’t let it happen again, next time I’m not going to be as nice! 😊

IF YOU DON’T WANT TO HELP AND WANT TO COMMENT SOMETHING RUDE, JUST SAVE YOUR TIME FROM TYPING IT, AND SAVE MY TIME FROM READING IT AND MOVE ON

I’m new to chickens and we recently just moved ours outside. We have a raccoon around our property, and we knew it was going to become a problem before we even got our chickens. It’s always on our cameras and tries to get in the trash. Well last night, I heard noise and caught it in the act of trying to get our babies. I ran it off. But my concern is how to dispatch it. We have close neighbors, including these terrible crackheads that want to live in the woods right next to our house, behind our coop area. The raccoon spawns from there and runs back there and Im not sure if shooting it is viable because I don’t want to accidentally shoot anyone or damage their homeless camp. (The people are real close maybe 20 feet give or take. I’ve been locking my chickens up for the night and leaving my Belgian Malinois in the run but it’s not really a longterm solution. I saw someone wrote that relocating it would just make it a problem for someone else. What do I do here?

Hi, quick question. What kind of cult did I just join? I decided I wanted chickens... I bought 6 at the end of April, now I have 16, two running brooders all my money in hardwear cloth and my laundry hasn't been done in 3 days because I'm watching baby chicks sleep.

Before anybody says anything about food/water in the run. We've been doing it like this for 3yrs and its worked for us with no issues of something getting inside.

First time letting a broody hen hatch eggs
We started with eight. She rejected four early on so I removed them. On day 21 one chick hatched. We are almost 48 hours out from that chick hatching, and she is still sitting on three eggs. How much longer do I give her before I remove them? She has food and water accessible, and the chick is already eating and drinking. 

Also, will the chick be okay being the only one or does she need more chick mates if the rest of the eggs are bad?

*Update* Posted a photo of the damage that happened. We didn’t have an immaculate set up as we are waiting to build a big coop for all of them soon. But the fencing we had up needs completely replaced and both metal runs need replaced (the chicken run on the left is damaged we just bent it back for now.) Along with the duck house & pool. A lot more damage could have been done and thankfully it missed our privacy fence, but obviously should not have happened in the first place🤦🏼‍♀️ ALSO tomorrow I will be checking our property lines because I’m pretty sure they cleared trees along our property line that should not have been cleared so there’s that too.

Had a company clearing trees beside our property (on another property)- it was too late before I realized what they were doing to move the chickens/ducks without compromising my own safety - anyways the whole tree fell on both coops but thankfully everyone came out unscathed just a little scared🤞🏼❤️ I felt so bad the way I had to remove the ducks out of their coop - tried to be as gentle as I could but I needed to get them to safety and of course they were freaking out! Had to grab a few by their necks unfortunately😢 But hoping they will forgive me because everyone is okay now and waiting for a new coop🤞🏼
