After many great years, this will be our final week at Rio Valley Meat in Harlingen. We’ll be open through Sunday.
It’s hard to put into words what this buisness has meant to our family. Since 2008, we’ve gotten to know so many of you and watched your families grow. A lot of you came in as customers and ended up becoming good friends.
We’re not sad about the journey. We’re grateful for it. We’ve learned a lot, grown a lot, and made memories that we will have with us forever. It’s simply time for us to close this chapter and move in a new exciting direction.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you. Thank you for supporting our family, shopping with us, encouraging us, praying for us, and sharing your love of barbecue with us. Thank you for allowing Rio Valley Meat to be part of your cookouts, family gatherings, celebrations, and everyday lives. We could not have stayed open all these years without you.
We’re closing the store, but Rio Valley Meat isn’t going away. Our seasonings and barbecue sauce line will continue, and we’ll still be competing in bbq, teaching, and growing the brand. We also have some exciting news about what’s coming next here at this very location, and we’ll share that in another post soon.
For now, everything at the shop must go! And I mean everything! All equipment, refrigeration, tables, fixtures, inventory, seasonings, sauces, meat, and everything else on the property is for sale. Come by, walk around, and let us know what you’re interested in. We’re ready to make some deals. Share this with your friends. We have a ton of restaurant equipment.
Again, thank you for everything you’ve done for us since 2008. We love and appreciate you guys more than you know.
This chapter is coming to an end, but our story isn’t over.
