9 weeks old, vet checked, up to date on vaccinations, dew claws removed & tail docked.

Every pup had alone time in the yard with parents today. Mainly because they’ve gotten so big that I can only carry one at a time! (I even have to be careful I take phone in pocket for pictures…no turning back once you’re out there.)

They start leaving on Sunday…it will be bittersweet. Thankfully, little Josie stays in the family & will be back to visit a bunch.

Ok…when we have baby chicks, we dip their beaks in water once and they are off to the races.

I always thought dogs were smarter than chickens.

Introducing water, Day Two, is going much like Day One. No one has gotten water in their mouth on purpose, but the attempts have worn them out!

Day 9 with puppies in the house!
I can’t believe I can’t touch them still (or shouldn’t), those little toes are killing me!!!

I love how they pile up to sleep when Addie is out of the whelping box. I love how dark the boys are getting already (except Hoss with the pink toes), I love how satisfied they are at this age just to be full, dry and warm. I know that won’t last!

English Springer Spaniels are the cutest animals on the planet!😍😍😍
