Last night we got some permanent fence installed so that I could use the temporary fence to move the bucks to the back corner of the property. It’s officially rut season and they are getting stinky! This is the time I year I try to avoid being near them as much as possible. I set up their area so they can be fed and watered from outside the fence. And used a taller fence so they can’t jump (they occasionally jumped the fence to get to “better” pasture).

Our weekend project was getting a farm stand up and running! We are open for business. The stand is self serve, and there is a cash box and Venmo code for payment. If you are coming to get milk, please bring your own jar(s) since according to Minnesota law you need to pour the milk from our jars to yours. Feel free to pm with any questions, or text the number in the pictures.

Pansy, Peaches, Cream and Annie have found a new home! I still have two kids available when they are old enough to wean.
Sunny was born June 2. He is a wether, would make an excellent pet as he is a super friendly goat. Would be a great companion for a doe or buck in need of a friend, or he can go with little guy. Sunny is the gold colored goat pictured with his sister.
Little guy (because I can’t come up with a better name), will be available September 7. He can be kept a buck or can be castrated. Sunny and Little guy could go together as pets. Little guy would also be an excellent herd sire, he is 75% alpine, 25% Nigerian dwarf. His dam produces a gallon per milking, and before I separated the twins at night she was giving 6-8 cups every 12 hours. She makes so much milk her 3 week old twins are almost the same size as the 2 month olds…..
Little guy is in the picture with his sister Annie, he has the more solid ears and a white stripe on his side. Both are black and white.

Truffle, the black kid with frosted ears, is being retained. She is only included because Sunny is in the picture.
