Ahrens Ranch & Wildlife, LLC. is proud to announce the addition of Marshall McFadden to the team as our Senior Field Specialist beginning June 1st.

Born and raised in San Angelo, Marshall grew up around baseball, hunting, fishing, and the outdoors.

After attending Schreiner University in Kerrville and completing his business marketing degree, Marshall pursued a full-time career in the ranching and hunting industry — working everything from ranch maintenance and equipment operation to breeding programs, guest hospitality, and large-scale hunting operations.

Since then, Marshall has built extensive experience across nearly every aspect of ranch and wildlife operations — from ranch hand work, feeders, fencing, and equipment operation, live animal capture, breeding programs, guest hospitality, and large-scale hunting operations.

He has guided and outfitted hunts across Texas, from the Hill Country and Panhandle to Waco, Falfurrias, and now Far West Texas, working with numerous exotic species and native wildlife. Along the way, he’s worked alongside respected professionals throughout the industry and developed a strong foundation in both field operations and client experience.

Marshall, his wife, and daughter call Kerrville home, and we’re excited to have him join Ahrens Ranch & Wildlife as we continue expanding our ranching, wildlife, and hunting operations across Texas.

His role will focus on:
• Hunting operations
• Ranch and wildlife management
• Exotic wildlife capture work
• Client experience and field logistics

We’re excited to announce Reagan Jones as the newest addition to Ahrens Ranch & Wildlife, joining us as our Ranch & Wildlife Intern for this summer.

Reagan’s Bio:

Howdy,
My name is Reagan Jones, and I am a member of the Class of 2027 studying Rangeland, Wildlife & Fisheries Management at Texas A&M University. I am a former Fightin’ Texas Aggie softball player and currently serve with Fellowship of Christian Athletes, as well as being a member of The Wildlife Society.

I graduated from Alvin High School, where I gained experience in veterinary medicine. I’ve always had a passion for the outdoors and the wildlife that comes with it. I grew up hunting and fishing, and I enjoy multiple forms of art along with staying active through athletics.

I’m extremely grateful for the opportunity to work with Ahrens Ranch & Wildlife and look forward to everything I’m going to learn.

His passion for the land and the animals that inhabit it began at an early age, and by just 13 years old he was already guiding his first hunting client — a foundation that launched a career centered around helping others achieve unforgettable outdoor experiences.

Since 2017, Colton has specialized in the raising, capture, and transport of exotic wildlife throughout the state of Texas, operating primarily out of Somerville.
