New & Unique Peppers - Part 1

Check these out! They are looking amazing! We've been babying these Peppers for quite a few weeks and they are going up to the Greenhouse & Nursery.

If you want to take home some Pumpkin Spice Jalapeños or some Korean Dark Green Peppers, this is your chance. Those Serano Tampiqueños are a bit spicier than a regular Serrano and they are getting big.

These are All Heirloom, Non-GMO and raised 100% Organically. No pesticides, no herbicides, not even any fertilizers. They are an all natural, blank slate ready for you to plant and treat as you see fit.

The Greenhouse & Nursery is open 7 Days a Week, Sun-up to Sun-down.

Guess what it's NOT going to do today on the Farm?

RAIN!

Being in Texas, we gotta take the rain when we can get it. But it has rained Everyday for the last 6 days straight! Any more and I was going to have to start building rafts for the animals and boats for the family to get around! 🚣‍♂️

Time to dry out a little bit now!

Happy Gardening! 😊

We started a lot of Jalapeño seeds this year. Several unique varieties along with a few standard ones - Early Jalapeño being one of the later.

We did a lot of Early Jalapeños actually. I believe we finished off several of our old seed packets along with a few newer ones also.

When these started fruiting, I didn't notice the issue right away. But it's pretty obvious now... These Early Jalapeño plants are NOT Jalapeño plants.... Those Jalapeño Peppers are NOT Jalapeño Peppers.

Is this revenge of Peppergate 2026, did I use some old seeds from Peppergate 2023 (or 24 or 25) or am I losing my mind?

We are very meticulous about labeling our starts and plants. If it was even just one pot labeled wrong, I would be unhappy and concerned. But this is half a dozen so far.

They appear to be Banana or Hot Wax. I'll have to taste one tomorrow to see what kind of surprise we were "gifted" with.

Our Apologies!

We had a technical glitch this morning when posting the full video of the Squash Vine Borer Battle Plan...

We tried out a new feature (new to us) to allow Facebook to cut a longer video into shorter sections for larger distribution- well, it did it 9 times! And posted 10 videos back-to-back on our page!

We believe we have the pileup sorted now.
Thank you for your patience.

And as always, Happy Gardening. 😊

Protect Your Squash Like a Pro: Vine Borer Battle Plan

In this video, I show you exactly how and why to wrap your squash stems in foil to stop Squash Vine Borers (SVB) in their tracks.

These destructive pests lay eggs on the stems, and their larvae bore inside, causing plants to suddenly wilt and die.

You'll see how simple it is to wrap your Squash Stems, which creates an effective barrier against the borers. Plus, I share my method for staking up squash plants for stronger growth and better airflow. This easy, chemical-free trick can save your entire squash harvest!

Great for backyard gardeners and beginners looking for practical, organic pest control.

👍 If this saves your squash, drop a like and follow for more gardening tips!
