Our 2 Original Raised Beds: Cool Weather Crops Refusing to Quit!

These two raised beds are where it all started here on the Farm. We built these and then continued to add more and more and more!

Typically, by now in Texas, the sun would have roasted these cool-weather crops to dust. But not this year. They have gone from thriving to overflowing!

Every plant in these beds (except the Carrots, Onions & Volunteers) was started in the Seed Rolls/ Seed Snails that we have posted so much about. They started stronger & healthier and have stayed that way.

Garden Hose Super Hack - Full Video

Save Time - Save Hoses - Save Frustration!

This simple super-hack for your garden hoses is a winning combination of two of the best hose attachments other than your sprayer.

The Shutoff Valve gives you complete control of your water, right where it's needed - at the hose end. No more kinking hoses to stop the water flow or having to go back and turn it off at the spigot.

On & Off right at your fingertips. Put it on tightly, with a hose washer, and it won't leak. With normal water pressure, your hose will still last years and won't burst either - I've tried it for years with numerous hoses!

The Quick Connect makes it fast and easy to change sprayers, hose attachments or even connect and disconnect multiple hoses. Use one at the spigot for quick disconnection or swapping hoses, too!

Again, just make sure the fitting is tight, a washer is used and you have a decent quality Quick Connect - and it won't leak! I've used them for years! The little o-ring on the male part of the Quick Connect CAN wear out or sun-rot, but a cheap o-ring kit from Harbor Freight will provide dozens more.

Give it a shot, and you'll be glad you did!
