Stone Hollow Farmstead

Stone Hollow Farmstead A sustainable farm, Stone Hollow Farmstead is home to Hanoverian Stables, the Stone Hollow Creamery, Botanikō Skin Care and the Stone Hollow Cannery.

Stone Hollow Farmstead was founded in 1999 by Russell and Deborah Stone and their two daughters Fallon and Alexandra. Deborah grew up in a family of gardeners and farmers, and SHF allows her to share that heritage with her family. Her parents and both sets of grandparents raised cotton, as well as vegetables and flowers. Many of the flowers found at Stone Hollow Farmstead originated in Deborah's g

reat-grandmothers' gardens. Deborah’s grandfather Carl Bland raised cattle for meat and dairy products, farmed cotton and vegetables, and owned the local grocer, Bland and Bland. The produce department within Bland and Bland grocer featured the seasonal harvest from local farmers. “Buying local” was simply the way it was, and preserving the harvest was a necessity. Carl’s wife Bertha and daughter Sylvia were the family artisans who preserved the bounty of fresh fruits and vegetables for their family. Today, Stone Hollow Farmstead houses several diverse but farm-related businesses: Stone Hollow Creamery, Stone Hollow Hanoverians, Botaniko Skin Care, Stone Hollow Cannery, and Stone Hollow Herbs, a certified herb processing facility that produces culinary herbs and herbal extracts for cosmetic manufacturing.

Yesterday, I found myself sitting around a table at a baby shower with a handful of girlfriends, talking about perfumes, aromatherapy, and the little things we’re always reaching for. It inspired me to share my top five Stone Hollow scents, in no particular order. These are the ones I come back to year-round, rarely veer from, and always seem to get stopped over.

Peace in Patchouli Oil Perfume
A forever favorite. Earthy, grounding, and soft in the most beautiful way.

Decompress Aromatherapy Oil
This one lives in my purse. You can catch me rolling it on the bottoms of my feet and my children’s, after workout classes, or anytime I need a reset. It’s also one of my go-to everyday scents and layers beautifully with anything deep and woodsy.

Deep Relax Body Satin
A dry body oil that makes sense for the South. In a humid climate, I never want anything that feels heavy or sticky, and this sinks beautifully into the skin, leaves the prettiest sheen, and carries the most calming scent throughout the day.

Vetiver Oil Perfume
Rich, grounding, and deeply comforting. One of those scents that feels clean, earthy, and elevated all at once.

Oud Oil Perfume
Warm, beautiful, and a little mysterious. It wears so well on its own but also layers beautifully with the rest of the lineup. It also happens to be Christian’s daily scent, which tells you everything you need to know. Unisex, subtle, and so good.

These live in my purse, on my bathroom counter, and in my daily rhythm. They are the ones I reach for again and again, and the ones people are always stopping me to ask about.

Just in from the farm and quietly stealing the show. Our Milk & Wine Lilies have arrived at , their soft blush petals striped like watercolor and opening into the dreamiest trumpet blooms of the season.

These fleeting beauties are one of those flowers that make you stop in your tracks. Graceful, sculptural, and impossibly romantic, they feel equally at home gathered loosely on a kitchen table or tucked into a favorite vessel for a simple moment of beauty.

Fresh from the farm and here for a short while. Stop by and bring a bundle home while they’re blooming.
