Time is swiftly moving, 2023 is upon us & springtime is just around the corner.
This means SHF flowers will soon be brightening our days with their beauty. While our incredible retail team was bustling through the holiday season in town, our team at the farm has been busy planting & editing spring gardens which is giving us something to look forward to — our Spring CSA Flower Share.
What is the Spring Flower Share?
10 weeks of fresh flowers from our Harpersville farm. Your flowers will be ready for pick-up on Tuesday or Thursday of each week at our Birmingham Outpost, FarmStand by Stone Hollow located at Pepper Place.
Mother nature oversees the seasons, so with that in mind, our Spring CSA Flower Share will begin in late March or early April & run for 5 to 10 weeks. Once the flowers begin to bloom, we will let you know the launch date on which you can expect your first share of the year. Each week you will receive approximately 20 to 30 stems of the farms’ best flowers. This could be a single variety or a combination of different blooms.
Flowers grown for Spring 2023 Flower Shares include: Daffodils, Jonquils, Sweet peas, Poppies, Ranunculus, Hellebores, Tulips, Hyacinth, Iris, Fritillaria, Peonies, Snap Dragons & more!

What to Expect:

INGREDIENTS FOR TEA |
1 tbsp SHF Winter Wellness Tea
8oz Boiled Water
1tbsp SHF Turmeric Apple Cider Vinegar
1tsp SHF Wild Flower Honey
1 Clove of Garlic, peeled & minced
1 Lemon Wedge
Bonus | 1 piece of SHF Crystalized Ginger
DIRECTIONS FOR TEA |
Add all the ingredients to your favorite mug except for the tea.
Place SHF Winter Wellness Tea Blend in your steeping spoon or basket & place it in your mug.
Pour boiled water over the ingredients & let it steep until just lukewarm.
Remove the Tea Basket & enjoy!
Note: You can make this recipe in a French Press if you prefer your tea to be completely strained. You would simply place all of the above ingredients into the French Press & once it is finished steeping - pour it into your favorite mug & enjoy.

I have held off posting until the final winners and runner ups were announced. This year our Barrel Reserve Coffee was a semi finalist for Garden & Gun Magazine Made In The South Award - Drink Category.
I’m super humbled to have been considered amongst the best creators in the entire South.
There’s a lot of history, pride, and craftsmanship all throughout the region and to even be considered is an an honor.
We didn’t win, weren’t a runner up, and wont go to print but anytime judges like Wayne Curtis and Al Roker taste and handle your product it’s an honor!
