Oh No... the girls (our honeybees) have turned off the honey spigot!

Well actually we just sold out all of our available Wildflower Honey already. We really appreciate all the business!

We do have some 1/2-pound bottles of our infused honey in cayenne and garlic still available.

We're hoping to pull a bit more spring honey in the next week or so and will post as soon as we have some for sale.

Also, we'll be closed this Sunday, June 15th. Happy Father's Day to all the Dad's out there!

Our self-service farmstand is now open daily. We accept cash (exact change), PayPal and Venmo.

Currently available:
Wildflower Honey (fall 2024 & spring 2025)
Fresh picked Blueberries by the pint

We'll update availability as other produce comes on... (or sells out)

The stand is open this weekend 9am - 7 pm ... or until all the plants are gone

We've opened our self-service farm stand a little early to offer some of our excess plants for sale. We always grow more than we plan to plant in case of unexpected problems (deer, late freeze...etc). Many plants have gone already so don't delay. Currently we have:

Brandywine Red Beefsteak & Heirloom Roma tomatoes in 4 & 6 inch pots

Elderberry in 4 inch pots

True Comfrey in 6 inch pots

Self-Heal (aka All-Heal) in 4 inch pots

For now we're only accepting cash payments and we've priced everything in whole dollar amounts to make things easier. We're hoping to accept PayPal & Venmo once our berries and other produce are ready in late spring.

Moving day for the first two hives.... We're in the process of moving all of our bees from the old Langstroth type hives to fully insulated Layen's style hives we recently built. This is our biggest step to provide our girls a more natural environment while requiring less intervention on our part. In conjunction with the new hives, we'll continue extracting honey using a press rather than a spinning extractor. Once the weather gets right again, we'll move the remaining hives over.

Eucalyptus cut and ready at the farm entrance... take as much as you want for free... after Thursday it's heading to the brush pile

Time to trim back the Eucalyptus...

This Wednesday (Oct 23) after 9am we'll be trimming all our Eucalyptus... if anyone wants the trimmings (FOR FREE) they'll be piled up at our farm entrance starting Wednesday morning until Thursday evening... what doesn't get picked up goes into the brush pile

Had a little fun creating a couple creatures for Halloween... what you can do with old styrofoam, black trash bags and left over row covers from last spring.

Really miss the sunny days... but at least a bumper crop of forest grown Shiitake mushrooms is a nice benefit.
