Our cattle are raised on grass, forage, browse, hay, non GMO soybean hulls, apple cider vinegar, free choice mineral and salt. We use a rotational grazing system. Our cattle are not fed grain, as grain has been shown to alter the fatty acid and CLA profile in beef, whereas soybean hulls have been shown to provide additiona
l energy without significantly altering the fatty acid and CLA profile. We use antibiotics only for therapeutic reasons, and we do not use hormones to improve performance. In addition, we do our best to provide a stress-free environment for the cattle, including our preference for on farm slaughter, which eliminates the stress of transport and the stress associated with the processing facility.
