👋Learn more about Harry Bachman
🤠Harry was born and raised on a farm and associated with agriculture all of his life. He first attended KILE in 1963 and hasn’t missed a show since.
His most memorable moment at KILE was being asked to become a co-chairman - a hat he proudly wears.
Harry would like everyone to know that planning for KILE never stops. When one show ends, the planning for the next begins. He enjoys working with a great committee and volunteers. He feels the show is blessed to have top notch committees and volunteers!
One thing he looks forward to at each show is seeing some of the same exhibitors from year to year!

✨KILE Konnections✨

📣Say hello to Amy Garges

👋 Amy grew up raising cattle with her Dad. Her most memorable moments at KILE were:
* 2013 when she got to ride Happy Bear the Texas Longhorn after the show
*2019 when she had to sprint to the sheep barn to show their sheep and then won Champion Lincoln Ewe.
* Mandatory backdrop pictures each year with her niece and nephew.
*Showing cattle for Lenape Limousin when she was in college!
She hopes the public knows how hard the volunteers work all year long to prepare for the show.
Her favorite part of the week of KILE is catching up with friends from across the country and working with the Block & Bridle members!
What is one word Amy would use to describe KILE? Cow-nnections.

🤠Fun Fact: Show Day Nerves or Sale Day Excitement? Sale Day Excitement, getting to be on the block helping Harry Bachman sell the club calves is always a highlight!

✨KILE Konnections✨

📣Learn more about Danadee Miller-Boyle

👋Danadee was raised on the family-century farm which surely instilled in her the love and desire to choose agriculture/livestock to be a part of her life. When Danadee was seven years old she was standing in the large arena right inside the show ring with her father watching the beef show and noticed a KILE ribbon laying in the sawdust. The beef judge picked up the ribbon and handed it to her and said, “Maybe you will show livestock one day.” That judge was onto something, as she showed livestock in 4-H showing beef and swine.
She would like show attendees and exhibitors to know that the folks behind the scenes are very DEDICATED!
During the week of KILE she enjoys watching the youth receive the scholarship awards. “It is very rewarding to me to see our future tomorrow keeping the industry alive,” she says.
One word to describe the week of KILE? PRIDE

🤠Fun Fact: Show ring nerves or sale day excitement? She gets so excited watching the youth sell their animals, especially if it is family members keeping the tradition alive!
