Seeking Loving Vegetarian Hosts for Young Animal Lovers!

This fall, two wonderful high school exchange students from Germany are coming to Pennsylvania through CIEE, a nonprofit cultural exchange program. Both students chose a vegetarian lifestyle out of their love for animals, and they’re hoping to join host families who share their compassion. 🐾💚

Meet the Students:
👧 Leonie, 16 – Kind, empathetic, and responsible. Loves spending time outdoors, caring for pets, and would be thrilled to live with a family that shares her compassion for animals.

👧 Tabea, 15 – Outgoing, social, and full of joy. Passionate about cooking, baking, tennis, and piano. She says: “I would really, really, really love to live with a host family with pets.” 🐶🐱

Hosting Basics:
🏡 Families volunteer (no stipend), but are eligible for a $500 federal tax credit.
🍽️ Families share three meals a day with the student and include them as part of the family.
💵 Students come with their own spending money and health insurance.
🌍 CIEE provides ongoing support, orientations, and a local coordinator to assist.

This is a beautiful opportunity to open your home, share culture, and support the next generation of compassionate plant-based youth.
