Seeking Loving Vegetarian Hosts for Young Animal Lovers!
This fall, two wonderful high school exchange students from Germany are coming to Pennsylvania through CIEE, a nonprofit cultural exchange program. Both students chose a vegetarian lifestyle out of their love for animals, and theyβre hoping to join host families who share their compassion. πΎπ
Meet the Students:
π§ Leonie, 16 β Kind, empathetic, and responsible. Loves spending time outdoors, caring for pets, and would be thrilled to live with a family that shares her compassion for animals.
π§ Tabea, 15 β Outgoing, social, and full of joy. Passionate about cooking, baking, tennis, and piano. She says: βI would really, really, really love to live with a host family with pets.β πΆπ±
Hosting Basics:
π‘ Families volunteer (no stipend), but are eligible for a $500 federal tax credit.
π½οΈ Families share three meals a day with the student and include them as part of the family.
π΅ Students come with their own spending money and health insurance.
π CIEE provides ongoing support, orientations, and a local coordinator to assist.
This is a beautiful opportunity to open your home, share culture, and support the next generation of compassionate plant-based youth.
π If you or someone you know would love to host Leonie or Tabea, please reach out to Diana Browne at [email protected] or call +1.480.620.1765.
