What an incredible day at the Volvo/Mack Family Day!
One of my favorite things about BBQ is that it brings people together, and this event was a perfect example of that. We had pitmasters, volunteers, friends, and family from all over the country standing shoulder to shoulder around the smokers, united by a love for great food and an even greater community.
From early morning fire management to serving families throughout the day, it was amazing to work alongside such a talented group of people. Different backgrounds, different styles, different storiesābut all with the same goal: creating an unforgettable experience for the Volvo/Mack family.
The BBQ community truly is one big family. The friendships built around smoke, fire, and service are something special, and Iām grateful to have shared this cook with every person in this photo.
Days like this remind me that BBQ is about so much more than meat. Itās about fellowship, teamwork, serving others, and making memories that last long after the smoke clears.
Thank you to everyone who traveled, cooked, volunteered, and made this event such a success. Iād fire up the pits with this crew again anytime.
