Sadly Lucky Squirrel is cancelled for Saturday. As someone with asthma, I appreciate the consideration that the city took when considering the horrible air quality and its hazardous effects on anyone breathing it. We are disappointed to be sure but we are also thankful that our fellow vendors and customers won’t have to be exposed to this smoke for hours on end.
We’ll see you at the final lucky squirrel in September!

Lucky Squirrel Vendor Show – July 18, 2026 Cancelled

After careful discussion and consideration, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the Lucky Squirrel Craft & Vendor scheduled for Saturday, July 18, 2026.

This was not a decision we made lightly. Our priority is always the health, safety, and well-being of our vendors, visitors, volunteers, entertainers, and everyone who helps make the Lucky Squirrel event such a special event. With the forecast calling for poor air quality throughout the day, we believe canceling the event is the most responsible course of action.

We understand this is disappointing. Our vendors spend countless hours preparing their products, and many of our visitors look forward to spending their Saturday in Downtown Garden City. We truly appreciate the commitment, support, and understanding of everyone involved.

Vendors: An email has been sent with additional information regarding this cancellation, including refund options. If you have any questions after reviewing the email, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.

While we're saddened that we won't be gathering this weekend, we're already looking ahead to our next Lucky Squirrel Vendor Show. Thank you for continuing to support our local makers, artists, crafters, and small businesses.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back to Downtown Garden City this September. Until then, stay safe and take care of one another.
