Freddie Moo is in heat again. Poor girl. It’s a strong one and if yall remember, she’s my 3-legged yard ornament, so heats mean a lot of barn and pen time that she’s just not used to. It’s gonna be a fun few days here!

This girl was working hard in the kid pen this afternoon giving nose spray and checking temps!
While we are very grateful for the much needed rain and cooler temps, we have some snotty noses and a couple with fever. 3 of the kids are in the barn for the night after getting meds. We weren’t proactive about the nose spray and checking temps earlier this week and we lost our little chocolate Nigerian doeling, Pamona. We are being MUCH more careful today.

With the huge cost of gasoline the girls are raising money to cover fuel and entry fees for the buck show October 25th. They need about $500. They are selling bags of goat poo fertilizer for $8 per bag. The bags are recycled feed sacks and volume will vary some, as we aren’t set up to weigh them. This first batch of 💩 is from our dry lot and has 95% pure poo. The hay feeder is in another area, so there is really no filler in these. If you need delivery in the Harrison area, we can arrange that. Send me a PM or text to let me know how many you need for your garden. Goat 💩 is a cold fertilizer so you can top dress your trees and bushes with it in addition to putting it in your garden to be prepared for spring.
