Rest in peace little Donald. He was a nice little buck. Just a yearling this spring. I was planning to use him with several of my does this year. I kept him because he arrived here on Presidents’ Day with muscle and brisket and a big ole attitude. He passed because of that attitude I’m pretty sure. I believe, sometime after feeding last night, he and the others started sparring and he ended up with a broken neck. That’s my best educated guess anyway. We will never know for sure. I still have his sire and his dam, so who knows. Maybe I’ll try for a repeat on Donald this year or next.
