Weekend Update!!

Due to the intensely hot weather, we had to close a little early today. But there's a cooler by the road with popsicles and ice cold water!!

Summer hours will be:
Mondays, Tuesdays 7am - 3pm
Closed Wed, Thurs
Fri 7am - 3pm

Some parking available at Wendell's.

Will be accepting most forms of payment including tap to pay, cards, & cash options.

There will be some food & drink specials as well, available in person only!

June update and small business shout-out Sunday!

There was a paperwork error with the health inspection, but everything has been resubmitted and we are patiently waiting for the go ahead! The last stop before opening :) stay tuned for some awesome news of a WEBSITE in the works!? More info soon...

Today we wanted to shout out an amazing artist who has been doing some more behind the scenes work lately to create something exciting.

Emily Grace Art & Design did an amazing job and worked so patiently with my less than concrete ideas to create these beautiful botanical prints for the strawberry teacup, so merch will be available -coming soon!!

You've seen her work before, she did the mural on the front of the Teacup! Another amazing job well done. We cannot thank her enough for all her support and work into getting the word out there for this small cafe!

Hello everyone! Happy June 🥳💐

I wanted to update you all about opening day, the farm, and everything else!!

Planting at the farm has been completed, Its grow time! 🥳

There are regulatory milestones that have to be met before the cafe can fully open.

⬜The town planning board meeting is scheduled for June 3rd at 6pm!
⬜ The water test is being processed by the state lab to make sure everything is all set for the health inspection
⬜ The health inspection can happen any time after the last test comes back!

Then the Strawberry Teacup will be fully licensed to open!!

In preparation for opening day, in the coming weeks I will be posting small business highlights of all the amazing key players that have and are helping the Strawberry Teacup come alive!

When I have more updates, including specific dates for opening, I'll make sure to keep you all posted!!

Hi Everyone 😊

This is Catrina Wilson, I am the owner of The Strawberry Teacup 🍓 I wanted to introduce myself, the cafe, and the farm!

As for Myself... Born and raised right in Harrison, Maine, I went to Harrison Elementary, through the Oxford Hills school system, and the University of Maine in Orono is where I received my bachelor's in chemical engineering. I spent some time working as an engineer in Atlanta, GA and found myself wishing for something different. So here it is! Avid hiker, traveler, and animal lover. I once did a 3 month solo backpacking trip across Western Europe, and I have an orange kitten named Cloud and a senior golden retriever named Phoebe who I love more than anything! Come stop by the cafe sometime, I am quite the chatty Kathy! Or should I say Cat-rina?

As for The Cafe... The Strawberry Teacup is located off of Route 35 in Harrison at Wendell's Small Engine Repair. From 7a to 3pm Mondays,Tuesdays,Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. It serves lattes, coffees, teas, breakfast sandwiches, and baked goods. As the season progresses at the farm, fresh produce and cut flowers for sale will begin to pop up in displays along the entrance. You can expect Seasonal drinks, fairy lights, and laughter to be in full swing as well. Planned opening is scheduled for June 2026!

As for The Farm... I am very grateful to be leasing a plot of beautiful farmland from my Aunt who has preserved a piece of the Wilson Family farm land in Cumberland for many years. It is my greatest honor and delight to be able to work even a part of the land that my late father and all his siblings grew up on. For accreditation, I took the University of Rhode Island's Boots 2 Bushels class in the spring of 2026. The market garden is 1/4 acre for the starting season and grows cut flowers, leafy greens, and vine ripened vegetables.

That's it! That's the introduction. The farm, The Cafe, and I cannot wait to see you very soon!
