Third broody hen now taking residency in the Marans coop. First momma is due to hatch June 4th. All 3 ladies are first time mommas, so this could be interesting. And no, I’m not willing to break the brood. Let nature do its thing I always say!! (Que less egg sales!)

Big day at Awed Acres Farm!! It’s taken us about a year to rehab and erect this piece of American history, but it’s finally done! It will now provide us with daily, renewable cistern water for future cattle projects, further down the road. Baby steps, but we are so grateful for them nonetheless. Now let’s pray it withstands tonight’s windstorm. 😂 🙏
