I donā€™t know about you but I donā€™t want anything to do with the kind of joy the world sells. Iā€™m finding joy in feeding my family well and enjoying spending time together growing, raising, preparing, preserving and enjoying our food.

My oldest planted a native pollinator garden this spring. He has over 15 different native plants planted but this mountain mint is definitely the favored plant by all the bees and flies. We counted at least 10 different pollinators enjoying it earlier today. So exciting!!

When itā€™s 10pm and you realize the lilies are about to bloom so you run out with a headlamp to cut one more bouquet. She turned out pretty perfect. Has a lot of my favorites, I almost kept it for me šŸ«£
