They are growing so fast! My son’s silkies are almost full grown and oh so adorable! I might have some favorites but it’s hard to choose!

Soil transformation! This gets me so excited! We could hardly dig into this area before we did this. It was sod on top of hard clay. I fell in love with flower farming watching YouTube videos- this method was on her channel and I am so thrilled to report it is epic! Just look at that rich soil! 100/10 recommend!

I’ve tried lots of different compost piles/methods and this one is my favorite. All you need are some heat treated pallets and wire. When getting pallets look for the HT market on them, that means they are heat treated rather than treated with chemicals. You don’t want the chemicals leaching into your compost. Use what ever wire on hand to tie them together and there ya go! Cardboard is Optional for this set up, I put it in the pallets to keep things from spilling out and on the ground because I didn’t kill the weeds first. If you have time to get just soil beneath the area that’s ideal. It’s that easy! What questions do you have about composting?
