Furry Friend Friday!

Show me a pic and tell me about the most mischievous critter you have at your place.

Though Abby (rear) is my ride or d!e, Migraine started out as, well, a headache.

The smartest of my goats (probably even smarter than I am), she learned where the holes in the fences were, and after The Sir and I fixed all those, she started leaping the fence.

So we set up some hot net in front of where she'd jump. ...and then she figured out how to jump that, and then the fence.

We finally extended the height of the fence where she preferred to fly over it, and that, paired with her getting pudgy after having been preganernant, finally stopped her habit of jumping fences.

This week's encounters.

The first migrating of the season, a pair of what I've always called "potato chip" butterflies getting intimate, a smol treefrog, a former butterfly (blue skipper, maybe?) who left its mark in the paint of a local restaurant, and then these bu****le stinkbugs are invading again.

Woof. Since BunBun and Salem are slated to be AI'd in October, it's past time to get them used to the milk stand. Especially BunBun, since she'll be almost 3 by the time she kids for the first time.

BunBun entered the milk room of her own volition, immediately flipped s**t, and getting her calmed down and up on the stand was a CHORE. Not sure what her deal was. She's snuck in behind the milking girls plenty of times. She gets a D.

Salem followed the milk bucket right up, but then I had to wrestle her out of the milk room. A-

I tried to get a more level side pic of Salem, but she was done with this crap as soon as I snapped the side pic I did get.

Goats, man.
