The Story Behind Sea To Go 🦀❤️
I just wanted to come on here and tell some of you who may not know much about me a little bit about who I am and how Sea To Go came to be.
My name is Christian. I’m originally from West Virginia, but I moved to Virginia about a year ago. For as long as I can remember, I’ve always seen myself creating something of my own—something that people could enjoy and love.
Some people know me because of my food, but they may not know the story behind it. For me, this food has never been just about making a profit or something to do when I’m bored. I make it because I genuinely love making people happy. There’s something special about being able to make someone’s day a little better just by giving them a meal they truly enjoy.
Growing up, I was always in the kitchen helping my mom. That’s where I developed my love for cooking and for bringing people together through food.
I remember the first time I made a seafood boil for myself. I sat down, took that first bite, and realized something—I genuinely loved making it. From there, I started researching, experimenting, and learning everything I could about seafood boils because I wanted to create something I could be proud of, but also something that would make the people who trusted me enough to order feel just as happy.
I still remember coming up with the name Sea To Go while I was sitting at a park. I remember my first great customer who trusted me enough to give me a chance and order one of my boils. Those moments may seem small, but they mean a lot to me because they’re part of how all of this started.
I’m incredibly grateful to have the freedom to pursue something I genuinely love, and my goal is to continue growing Sea To Go, bringing it to more people, and eventually becoming an even bigger part of my community.
To everyone who has followed me, ordered one of my boils, shared my posts, recommended me to someone, or even just told me that my food looks amazing—thank you. ❤️
Every bit of support means more to me than you know.
At the end of the day, I don’t just make these boils for the business. I make them for you. Because everyone deserves to sit down, enjoy a delicious meal, and have something that makes their day a little better.
