A night of great food for an even greater cause. ❤️

Chef Nick Smith was honored to represent Monty's at this year's Top Chef Harrisonburg charity competition, showcasing a dish that celebrated some incredible local partners and ingredients:

◦ Zion's Farm beef, sous-vide for three hours, pan-seared,
and sliced to perfection
◦ Charred corn and tomato confit salad
◦ San Francisco-style sourdough croutons from Mill Song Bakery
◦ A carrot-ginger-forward steak sauce that brought it all together

While we didn't bring home the trophy, we're proud to have been part of an event that raised support and awareness for an amazing charity, Blue Ridge CASA for Children. Congratulations to all of the talented chefs who competed, and thank you to everyone who attended and made the evening so special.

Special thanks to Zion's Farm of Virginia and Mill Song Bakery for helping us showcase the best of our local food community.
