This event changed my life in such profound ways. I was apart of a motorcycle ride that was done to raise money for these two heroes families. Every encounter in preparation for event I was touched and moved by how everybody was mourning the loss of Larry & John. At the fundraiser I met my now husband Dan Davis who I fell in love with who is also a first responder. About 18 months later we opened Headquarters Winery & Restaurant in downtown Lees summit. Our goal was to provide a place that was unapologetically patriot and who provided a safe space for our first responders. To provide a place they don’t feel the need to sit with their back to the wall.
We wanted to create space that would do ongoing fund raisers to help support our first responders.
We know as the years have passed our model has shifted some with a bigger kitchen, closing earlier and putting additional focus on our w**e production. We have also moved our operations to Harrisonville MO.
But at the end of the day we remain 💯 Red, White, & Blue and love and support our police, Fire, EMT, Nurse, Army, Marine, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard and every single person who helps protect our freedoms both domestic and globally.
For those who haven’t seen it yet we were gifted one of the fire hoses from this tragic incident and it’s displayed in our restaurant.
If you are a first responder or in the military, both active or retired please stop by and see our space that is dedicated to each of you.
