Second set of twins riding with grandma. Twins are often a curse as the mother seldom will take both of them and you end up with a bottle baby. Knock on wood but both sets of twins are getting full support from their mothers.

Western Nebraska just lost about a million acres of range and pasture to wildfire. Plus stacks of stored hay. I was in Cheyenne ten days ago when this ignited. Last year we organized and sent several semi loads of donated hay from Michigan to farms hit by floods in N Carolina. I just spoke with a rep from Nebraska dept of agriculture and they need hay. More strategic feeding to reduce windchill

Feeding the cows behind a windbreak reduces windchill effect, which reduces the amount of hay needed for the cattle to maintain body temperature.

This year the farm donated the Christmas tree to the town of Harrisville. Come on out this Saturday November 22nd the festivities start at 5:30pm at the end of Main street in Harrisville. Right next to the lake. See you there!
