Edit: he is a rooster and his name is ā€œNubbinsā€.
This is a young hen with no ankles or feet. She lost them due to frost bite. I nearly had her culled, but she is doing well and has healed up and has started to create pads over her previously exposed leg bones. She is actually the most loving little thing and seeks attention and treats. She is a pet now, since she would not fare well out with the main flock.
