When you walk outside and see a baby lamb on the ground, you count the babies over and over and can’t seem to figure out why there is 1 more than what you had earlier in the day then try to figure out from whence they came from.

A completely unexpected surprise waited us this afternoon. We thought we were done lambing for the year until this little one decided to make an appearance. We are still scratching our heads trying to figure out how, what, when and where this momma could have been exposed to the ram as she we did not intentionally turn her out with the rest of the mommas earlier this year.

None the less we have a healthy ram lamb born!

We added a couple new animals to the craziness a coupkr weeks ago. Our daughter’s first year in 4H and she did not want to show sheep. She wanted to show goats. Welcome Nibbles and Valtenio, 2 Nubian Wethers. Completely different personalities than the lambs.

Owen had a successful 3 days at the Ohio State Fair Dog Show.

Day 1:
7th place Rally Noice B with Samson

Day2:
7th place Intermediate B Showmanship with Samson
4th place Rally Intermediate A with Tallualh
3rd place Skillathon

Day 3:
1st place Novice A with Samson
14th place Pre Novice with Tallualh
11th place Rally Novice B with Samson

Owen also won his 2nd State Fair title.

Allen county was the most represented county with 11 kids attending and out of those 11 kids 8 of them came from our club!
