Jon and David have been busy the past couple of weeks pruning. They have also been marking which trees we will have available for choose and cut this holiday season. We are excited the trees have been growing well this spring and summer!

Congratulations to David on receiving a $1,000 grant from the Farmer Veteran Coalition and Tractor Supply Co.! The grant is awarded to a farmer who served in the military to be used for a project on their farm.

We have been working on transplanting some trees and tidying up around the fields the past few weeks. It has been nice to see trees of all sizes growing!

Spring has sprung on the farm🌲. New buds mean new growth and a happy tree!

Since we finished spring planting we have spent the past couple weeks at the farm watering all of the newly planted trees and then installing irrigation, a multiple step process that includes hooking up and laying orchard tubing and then installing emitters at each tree.

The irrigation has proven to be a valuable addition to all the trees we have planted at the farm so far, especially when drought conditions occur in Kentucky.
