We are excited for youth weekend here at DCP🦌🤎

It’s a BIG week for youth hunters in Kentucky: youth-only fi****ms season starts THIS Saturday! (Oct. 10-18)

Here’s what families need to know:
•Youth hunters 12–15 must have a hunting license and deer permit; hunters under 12 do not need one.
•Adults accompanying youth must wear hunter orange but cannot hunt using a fi***rm (except during statewide muzzleloader season).
•Telecheck all harvested deer using the youth’s Social Security number and info. (Tip: Using online Telecheck or the KY Deer & Elk App helps reduce mistakes!)

‼️ Youth hunters can harvest antlered or antlerless deer statewide, following all bag limits and regulations.

This is the perfect opportunity to pass on your passion for the outdoors to the next generation of hunters. For more on the rules and regulations of the season:https://fw.ky.gov/Hunt/Documents/huntingguideentire.pdf
