We are a small family farm raising beef and chicken located in Central Kentucky. Our whole family is involved in the daily care for our animals right down to the littlest one! Our animals are raised with their health and welfare being our highest priority. We firmly believe that they deserve the best we can provide as they provide for us all year long. ves born each spring. Raised on the beautiful rolling pastures of Harrodsburg, KY, our cattle are always in their natural environment and fed a well balanced diet of pasture/hay and grain. They are always hormone and antiobotic free. We have beef available for your freezer each spring and fall. Beef are grain finished but keep on a rotational grazing program to ensure their happiness of remaining in their natural environment - outside where they belong! Each spring and fall we also raise Freedom Ranger Meat Chickens. Chicks are raised in our barn under the warm lights and protection of their brooder. When they reach 3 1/2 weeks of age and their feathers come in they are moved out side to the lush green grass! The birds have shelter and fresh pasture along with lots of garden and table scrapes with their favorite being tomatoes, cantaloupe, grapes, strawberries and peas! They also remain 100% antibiotic and hormone free. They are processed around 8-9 weeks of age. Our beef and chicken are processed at Marksbury Farms in Lancaster, KY where they pride themselves on humane slaughter. It is a USDA facility and an excellent reputation.
