I opened Facebook this morning to a wonderful surprise: the Jan. 2023 BGS newsletter announced HCS Flannagan as their Sire of the Year! Better yet he was accompanied by two of his offspring- Heifer of the Year and Bull of the Year! Yes, our family are proud of this trifecta! But we are so appreciative of all of the hard work done by Sunnybrook Farm and many Juniors within the Great Lakes Belted Galloway group. Our thanks to the Juniors and their families! Well done! Eckelman’s Washington shown by Kaylee Eckelman was the Honorable Mention Bull of the year was also an HCS Flannagan.
Sorry I missed that! Mind blowing success!

We are excited to offer non registered heifers from our beef program for sale. We only sell beef from our steers in the meat shop. They were sired by our prize winning bulls. We have sorted these heifers and have weaned heifers, ready to be bred heifers, first calf heifers. We may still have some steers as well!
We want to work on our pastures and design.
Some of our registered stock will be sorted later in the year.
