BUSY SPRING
Breeding season has come to a close here at MCF with embryos going in today. Special thanks to Dr. Kurtz for taking care of us with our embryo work. We have a few matings that we can’t wait to share with you guys. AI’ing and working cows is done (for right now LOL). Crops are finally in the ground due to a wet spring, now waiting to catch a rain. Grateful to have such a great support system to take care of business!

CALVING SEASON
Here at MCF, calving season has been in full swing. First set of Gilman’s Liberty Valance 25J calves are hitting the ground. Excited about a Liberty Valance x Thermal Energy heifer calf (1st pic). Calves out of JSF Ronan 5H and our last calf crop out of BSG Task Force 1904 are coming as well. Fall calves are filling out like the bull calf (3rd pic) that is a Ronan x Thermal Energy. Full sib to MCF Maverick (4th pic) doing herd bull duties in Casper, WY for 4-Spear Ranch. Bring on the end of calving season and onto breeding season!
