We've milked for awhile but this is the first season we have a milk room!!! 💕My husband, Oliver Winship grew up on a multi-generational dairy farm and does AI for cattle locally. I grew up in a culture of DIY so I do a lot of breads, noodles, etc. We as a family have two forever kids and we currently are resource parents for two more. We continue to grow, learn, and live our dream - hence the name of our farm. 🥰

Tonight we were able to put on real clothes, and celebrate the kids who make it all possible. ❤️

One of my real estate clients gifted us a gift card to one of the best restaurants in town, so we decided it was time for a little family celebration!

These wonderful kids of ours are growing up in a life where there's always something that needs doing. Animals need tending, the farm needs work, babies need love, and Mom has breads to bake and real estate clients to take care of. And these kids are right there, showing up and being part of it all. Dishes, schedule rearranging, house cleaning, chores, so many chores, babies to hold, car seats to put in, etc. Always something to do!

So tonight, we celebrated THEM. Their hard work. Their accomplishments. Their dedication. And the wonderful humans they're becoming.

These kids are pretty darn special, and we hope they know just how much we appreciate them. 🥰

Every week we do everything we know how to make each item come out perfectly. Sometimes that method works; sometimes our life in the kitchen is falling apart.

But I'll be honest and as I look at the imperfect handmade products I also remind myself, "I know what I put into this ...' and that's where I need to leave it.
..but then these donuts, oh these donuts- absolutely beautiful ❤️❤️❤️
