If you’ve ever dreamed of meeting and loving on a Highland cow up close, now’s your chance! We’ll bring our gentle, fluffy Highland cow (and friends) to your event for an unforgettable experience your guests will be talking about long after it’s over.

🚨 Important Bull Shade Farm Question… 🚨

It’s come to my attention that not EVERYONE loves a good hug.

Are you a hugger? 🤗

Because I absolutely am. BIG time hugger, here.😅

I’m the kind of person who hugs my family, my friends…….my cows.

So I have to know…

❤️ Love hugs! Bring it in!
👍 I’m more of a wave-from-a-distance kind of person.

I need to know so that I can respect everyone’s personal space, but also hug the stuffing out of you, if you allow it). 😂

Well… today we planted sunflowers for the first time🌻

I started with a plan: straight rows, proper spacing, everything nice and organized.

Then my kids decided they wanted to help.

Within minutes, my carefully planned sunflower patch looked less like a farm and more like someone lost a bag of seeds in the wind.

Will they grow? Maybe.

Will they all sprout in one giant clump? Also maybe.

Will there be random sunflowers popping up in places they absolutely don’t belong? Honestly… I wouldn’t bet against it.

But here’s the thing…

I could have sent the kids off to play so I could have my perfectly planted rows. Instead, I got dirty little hands, lots of laughter, a few arguments over who got to throw the next handful of seeds, and memories I wouldn’t trade for the prettiest sunflower field in Alabama.

The flowers may or may not make it, but the memories already did.

And if a few sunflowers decide to bloom in complete chaos, I guess they’ll fit RIGHT in here at Bull Shade Farm. 💛🌻
