Today five ewes have lambed on a beautiful day. Lambing season may have started slow but we are flying to the finish line. We are currently at a rate of 1.75 lambs per ewe with a surprising number of first timers having twins.

Today is our two year anniversary of buying the farm.

Day to day, the work can feel overwhelming, like you’re never making progress. But if I think back to the state things were in when we started, it’s amazing what we’ve accomplished in a short amount of time. A flock of 50+ sheep on pasture, 400+ apple trees in the ground, hundreds of chickens raised last year, repairs of the historic farmhouse and barns, a summer of B&B bookings coming up, and today two new lambs were born!

We feel fortunate and blessed to be able to do the work, and grateful to our friends, family, neighbors, guests, and customers who have supported us thus far. There is so much more to come!
