We had a pumpkin carving contest. It was the hens against the roosters to see who could peck the face in a pumpkin first. The competition started on Monday. Each team was given a pumpkin with the skin peeled off to make a face. After several pecks and a few days the hens won the competition. The roosters pulled ahead right away but sort of lost interest in the competition.
