Ethan had a good day at the Ozark Empire Fair yesterday in the junior and open shows. I failed at getting pictures of his junior show champion and reserve champion, pictured is B&G 25379 yearling ram who took Reserve Champion in the open show. 25379s first lambs will be hitting the ground this fall!

We’ve been super pleased with our ROD 2489 lambs and are offering two of his top ewe lambs in our 2nd annual online sale tomorrow May 26! He’s pictured out on pasture breeding 40+ ewes at 250+ pounds. We always strive for a sheep that can compete in the show ring and more importantly be productive on the farm and we think both of these two ewes are excellent examples of that. His dam, ROD 2501, is a first time ewe out of LY 215 'Leonardo' (2023 Midwest Stud Ram Sale Champion Ram) and CAG 5013, a Hercules daughter we purchased from Prairie Lane Farms (Senior Champion Ewe in 2023 National Junior Show). His weaning and post weaning weight EBVs are top 10% and top 5% respectively in the Katahdin breed. 25220 was our pick of the early fall ram lambs but due to the size of our ram pen we’re offering him as lot 1. Don’t miss out on this guy!
